Start With Where the Water Lands
Before we measure, we watch how the roof drains. Valleys and steep slopes can send a lot of water into one corner. Long eaves need enough outlets to keep the gutter from overflowing in the middle. We map out:
- How much roof area drains to each run
- Where valleys and dormers concentrate water
- Where downspouts can drain without flooding walkways, flower beds or a neighbor's yard
- Whether the ground slopes toward or away from the house
Seamless Runs, Sized Correctly
We form seamless aluminum gutters on site to fit each run of your roof. Most Batesville homes do well with 5-inch gutters, but large or steep roofs often need 6-inch gutters to keep up in a heavy storm. Adding more downspouts, or using larger 3x4 downspouts, often solves overflow more cheaply than upsizing the whole system.
Guards for Leaves and Pine Straw
If oaks or pines hang over your roof, gutter guards will save you from repeated ladder trips. We usually recommend a stiff micro-mesh guard that keeps out fine debris and doesn't sag under wet leaves. Guards are installed on top of pitched, well-fastened gutters, so we fix any loose sections first.
Section Repairs and Cleaning
Not every problem calls for a new system. We regularly:
- Reseal leaking corners and end caps
- Replace a single crushed or rusted section
- Re-pitch gutters that hold water
- Re-fasten gutters pulling off the fascia, and replace any rotted fascia behind them

How often do Batesville homes need gutter cleaning?
Twice a year is a good baseline, in late spring and after the leaves drop in the fall. Homes under heavy tree cover may need it more often, which is why many owners add guards.
Are seamless gutters worth it?
For most homes, yes. Fewer joints means fewer leaks, and they look cleaner. They also last longer than sectional gutters, which depend on sealant at every joint.
Which materials do you install?
We mostly install seamless aluminum with a factory-baked finish. We use 5-inch or 6-inch K-style gutters, standard or oversized downspouts, and hidden hangers.
Will gutter guards mean I never clean my gutters again?
Not quite. Guards keep the trough from clogging, but some debris can sit on top and may need brushing off once in a while. It's much less work than cleaning out packed gutters.
Can you replace just one damaged section?
Yes. On sectional systems we can replace individual sections. On seamless systems we can replace one run, matching the profile and color as closely as possible.
