Step 1: Walking the Exterior
We start at ground level, checking siding for warping, cracks and gaps; trim for rot; gutters for sagging or overflow stains; and windows and doors for failed seals. We also look at grading near the foundation, since standing water there often points to a drainage problem.
Step 2: The Roof and Attic
On the roof we examine shingles for hail bruising, granule loss and lifted tabs, then check flashing at walls, chimneys and pipe boots. Inside the attic, we look for daylight, water stains, damp insulation and signs of poor ventilation such as excessive heat or condensation. This roof inspection tells us whether the system has years left or is near the end.
Step 3: Photos, Options and a Written Estimate
You receive photos of every issue we find, an explanation in plain language, and options at different price points when they exist. Nothing is pushed; you choose what to do and when. For roof-specific work, see our Clinton roofing contractor page.

Common Questions
What does your home exterior service include?
It can cover any combination of roofing, siding, trim, gutters, windows, doors and outdoor living. The inspection determines which pieces your home actually needs.
How long does the inspection take?
Most inspections take about an hour, depending on the size of the house and whether we go into the attic. We review findings with you before we leave or follow up with a written report.
Are the materials you install rated for high winds?
Yes. We use products with manufacturer wind ratings and install them to the specifications those ratings require, including nailing patterns and sealed starter courses.
Will you work with my insurance company?
We can document storm damage and meet your adjuster. Your claim decisions stay with you and your insurer.
