What the Name Means to Us
"Tekton" comes from an ancient Greek word for a builder or craftsman, someone who works with their hands and stands behind what they make. It is a fair description of the standard we hold on every house: careful preparation, honest explanations, and finished work that still looks right years later. A roof or wall is only as good as the details nobody sees once the job is done, like the underlayment, flashing, fasteners and sealants. Those details are where we spend our attention.
How We Approach Every Project
- Diagnosis first. We find out why a problem is happening before deciding how to fix it. A stain on the ceiling might trace back to a cracked pipe boot, a clogged valley or a gutter overflowing behind the fascia.
- Straight answers. If a repair will do the job, we say so. If replacement makes more sense, we show you why with photos and measurements.
- Written scope and warranties. Every estimate lists what is included, and workmanship and manufacturer warranties are explained in writing.
- Respect for your property. We protect landscaping, keep driveways clear where we can, and clean up each day.
We install products from manufacturers such as GAF, James Hardie and Pella and match materials to the conditions a Mississippi home actually faces: long humid summers, heavy downpours, spring hail and high winds.

Common Questions
What kinds of projects does Tekton Exteriors take on?
We focus on the exterior of the home: roofing, siding, gutters, windows, doors and outdoor living spaces such as patios, pergolas and outdoor kitchens. We also assist with storm damage repairs and insurance documentation.
What sets your company apart from other contractors?
We put the inspection and explanation ahead of the sales pitch. You get photos of what we found, a written line-item estimate, and warranty terms in writing before work begins.
Do you work outside of Oxford?
Yes. We serve much of North Mississippi and the Jackson Metro area. If you are not sure whether we cover your town, call or send a request and we will let you know.
