Step 1: Inspection and Assessment
We walk every side of the house, probe trim and the lower courses for soft spots, check flashing at windows and roof lines and look at gutters and drainage. You get photos of anything that concerns us and an explanation of what it means. The visit is free.
Step 2: Materials and Design
We help you choose between vinyl, insulated vinyl and James Hardie fiber cement, then settle profiles, colors and trim. We bring physical samples so you can see them against your roof and brick in daylight. Your written proposal names every product and spells out scope and warranty terms.
Step 3: Removal and Wall Preparation
Old siding comes off one area at a time. Damaged sheathing is replaced, and a continuous weather-resistive barrier goes on, lapped so water always drains outward. Windows and doors get proper flashing and roof-to-wall joints get kick-out flashing. This hidden layer does more to protect your home than the siding itself.
Step 4: Installation
Starter strips and corners are set level and plumb, then siding is installed according to the manufacturer's requirements, with room for vinyl to expand and the exact nailing pattern fiber cement needs. Trim, soffit and fascia are completed and sealed. Most siding projects finish in three to seven days depending on size and material.
Step 5: Cleanup and Walkthrough
We remove all debris, run a magnet over the yard and driveway for stray nails and walk the house with you. Anything that is not right gets fixed before we call the job done. You also receive your warranty paperwork and care tips for the material you chose.
What You Gain
- Energy comfort: a sealed wall and optional insulated siding reduce drafts and heat gain.
- Lower maintenance: no more scraping and repainting wood every few years.
- Weather defense: a properly flashed wall resists wind-driven rain, and modern products stand up to hail better than old, brittle siding.

Common Questions
Do I need to be present for the inspection?
It helps, so we can show you what we find and answer questions, but it is not required. We can send photos and a written summary afterward.
What happens if you find more damage than expected?
We stop, show you photos and explain the repair and cost before going further. Your proposal includes unit pricing for common hidden repairs.
Can you work around my schedule?
Yes. We set start dates with you and keep you informed if weather requires a change.
